01. The Challenge
How does a mid-sized MSP compete against Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure? With a great story.
As a leading managed service provider to Canadian Federal and Provincial governments, Technology Integration Group (TIG) needed to offer solutions that would set it apart from the hyper-scale cloud competitors.
The federal and provincial government were poised to begin shifting traditional infrastructure spend on servers and storage to cloud services. TIG, as a leading provider of hardware infrastructure was at risk of losing large amounts of revenue when this shift took place.
02. The Solution
The Story Architect worked with TIG to evaluate it’s current offerings and was given early access to a new cloud service that it would be offering in partnership with ThinkON.
These services were vmware based software-defined cloud and data center infrastructure offerings, that offered a unique level of data residency, hyper-security, and unified control from data center to cloud, using vSphere management software.
We helped them rebrand their service offering as “Software Accelerated Hybrid Cloud, and Software Accelerated Data Center.” The key focus was on shifting the customer’s focus to the goal of accelerating cloud and digital transformation. The solution included all elements of messaging, customer collateral like data sheets, competitive comparisons, explainer videos and whitepapers, as well as sales collateral like sales decks.
The Story Architect helped get our message to market quickly, and thoroughly understood how to get our customer’s attention through story.
– Paul Cooper, President, TIG Canada
03. The Result
The branding and messaging were well received by sales teams and customers. In conjuction with other marketing activities, including event support and thought leadership articles, TIG was able to secure cloud contracts with both the Canadian federal government and Ontario provincial government, exceeding $1M in value.
This is a useful post for finding broken links within the website, what about links pointing outwards that are broken? I can use a free web service but wondered if this was possible.
Great tool! I am using a redirect plugin to send all my 404’s to my home page but I think it’s slacking sometimes.
